 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What E-Design services do you offer?

We have three e-design offerings: Full Room Design, Room Styling, and Quick Consults. We offer an in-person Designer for a Day service for clients living in the greater Denver, Colorado area. You can read more about those services and see if we’re a good fit for each other on our services page!

Who is this service for?

Anyone who wants to create a space they love! E-design is a quick and fun way to get the look you want for a flat design fee. It's great for:

  • Someone who is furnishing a new home and doesn’t know where to start to get the look you want

  • A person who wants to give a room a refresh, but the budget is tight and you need to make your dollars go as far as possible

  • Someone who is making a move and wants to start over with new pieces that best fit their new space

  • Young professionals moving into their first place and "graduating" from hand-me-downs to a more cohesive and personal style

  • Anyone building a home and who has decision fatigue (or decision paralysis!) selecting all the finishes, fixtures, and furniture

One of the best things about e-design is that once you have your final design and shopping list in hand, you have the freedom to do with it what you will. You can hop online and buy everything right away or use it as guide to find similar pieces when your budget and timeline allow.

What kind of budgets do you work with?

We can work with budgets of all sizes! We truly believe that everyone can and should have a beautiful space to live in. We’ll stick to the budget you give us and try our best to maximize it.

Are there any additional fees or hourly charges?

No. Our design service fees are transparent and flat rate so cost remains the same no matter your budget. We’ll send you a letter of agreement based on the design services you choose so the scope of work and all fees are crystal clear from the get go.

Will you come to my house and set everything up for me?

Park and West Home does not offer installation, assembly, or set up services. We provide you with a plan and all the information you need to execute your design, then you implement it as time and budget allows. Many clients hire a third party to assemble and move furniture for them on an hourly basis through services like Thumbtack or TaskRabbit (no affiliation with Park and West Home). If your design includes things like hardwired light fixtures or installing plumbing fixtures, we strongly recommend hiring the appropriate licensed and insured professional to do those installations.

What if my needs don't fit Park & West’s design service offerings?

Let's chat! We can often come up with a solution that works well for both of us. Drop us a line here and let us know what you’re looking for help with.

What are your favorite design styles?

I genuinely like a lot of different design styles! I’m drawn to spaces that incorporate both contemporary and traditional elements, have clean lines but also a good dose of texture. I like to start with simple and timeless foundational furniture pieces and then layer in art, textiles, and accessories that really give a space it’s polish and style. My favorite pieces to incorporate into designs tend to have elements of mid-century, coastal, or transitional styles.
