I trace the beginnings of my love of interior design to rainy summer days growing up. My childhood babysitter’s favorite rainy day activity was to bring over her parents’ catalogs and we’d draw floor plans, select furniture, décor, appliances, even paint colors. It was basically our own pre-internet version of Pinterest! Somehow I didn’t end up studying interior design in college (I studied Marketing and Art History at the University of Denver) but I did end up working in retail home furnishings for over two decades! Over the years I’ve worked with clients on everything from holiday tablescapes to studio apartment space plans to furnishing a newly built custom home top to bottom.
